Intellectual Property Policy

Information about the ownership and protection of intellectual property related to the Hinka AI platform.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All content, features, functionality, design elements, logos, trademarks, and proprietary technology of Hinka AI are the exclusive property of Hinka AI and are protected by Iraqi intellectual property laws, including the Iraqi Copyright Law (No. 3 of 1971, as amended), the Iraqi Trademark Law, and applicable international intellectual property treaties and conventions.

2. AI Models and Technology

The artificial intelligence models, algorithms, training methodologies, and data processing systems developed by Hinka AI constitute proprietary trade secrets and confidential information. These technologies are protected under Iraqi trade secret laws and international best practices.

Users may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the underlying AI models, algorithms, or source code of the Hinka AI platform.

3. Legal Database

While the underlying laws and regulations of Iraq are public domain, the curated, organized, and AI-enhanced legal database compiled by Hinka AI represents a significant creative and technical effort. The selection, arrangement, annotation, and presentation of legal information in our database is protected by copyright as a compilation work.

4. Trademarks

The Hinka AI name, logo, and all related product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Hinka AI. You may not use these marks without prior written permission. All other names, logos, and brands appearing on the platform are the property of their respective owners.

5. User-Generated Content

By submitting queries, feedback, or other content to Hinka AI, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze such content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

You retain ownership of your original content, but you acknowledge that anonymized and aggregated query data may be used to improve our AI models and legal database without further notice or compensation.

6. Permitted Use

Users may access and use the legal information provided by Hinka AI for personal, educational, and professional legal research purposes. You may cite information obtained from Hinka AI with proper attribution.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works based on Hinka AI content for commercial purposes without prior written authorization from Hinka AI.

7. Copyright Infringement Claims

Hinka AI respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at ip@hinka.ai with a detailed description of the alleged infringement, including the specific content at issue and proof of your ownership rights.

8. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Hinka AI may reference or cite third-party content, including government publications, academic works, and legal commentary. Such references are made in good faith for informational purposes and are properly attributed. All third-party intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners.

9. Enforcement

Hinka AI actively monitors and enforces its intellectual property rights. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action under Iraqi law and applicable international conventions. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in this policy.
